Joana Sanz is experiencing one of the sweetest moments of her life after enduring some of the most bitter years, which began with the passing of her mother and the accusations against her husband, Dani Alves, of sexual assault. Two joyous events have coincided in her life: the acquittal of the athlete by the High Court of Justice of Catalonia and the confirmation of her pregnancy. She describes this phase as one "filled with tears of joy and immense relief for this new beginning," as she stated in an interview with ¡Hola! magazine.

Regarding Alves' legal proceedings, Sanz has been resolute: "I always believed in his innocence, which is why I have always stood by his side." However, she admitted that the media pressure was overwhelming: "Receiving so much attack without being either the accused or the accuser... That was perhaps the hardest part."
Getting pregnant was not easy either, and she shared that despite being a healthy 27-year-old woman when she began her journey, she went through "two IVF treatments, three miscarriages, and eventually, a fallopian tube surgery, compounded by the onset of endometriosis." Five years later, at 32, she received the good news coinciding with her husband's acquittal.
Now, looking towards the future, the model clings to the happiness that motherhood brings her. "My only concern is the baby. Ensuring its health and strength is all I think about," she said. Regarding her relationship with Alves, she concluded: "It's a new beginning, that's what I like to call it."
