Accident in Puig Campana: a young man breaks his ankles after a fall

The Provincial Fire Consortium of the Alicante Provincial Council has rescued a 25-year-old man who had broken both ankles and suffered various polytrauma after a fall on the Els Entorns route of Puig Campana, in Finestrat.

The Corps received the accident report at 10:58 am. The Consortium dispatched an Alpha 01 helicopter and a mountain rescue team to the scene. Once the injured was attended to, the firefighters transferred the affected young man to a medical helicopter to transport him to the nearest hospital, where he was immediately treated. The operation ended after 3 pm.
